After devs fix everything important...
Would there be a nice escape map in our futures? I know the community can make some pretty awesome maps, but i don't think any will live up to the caliber you guys put into official maps. god i miss playing escape maps

Escape maps w/ spy will be very interesting on FF.

As long as bots are on the bottom of the dev's priority list and there is a way to disable them from being in online servers I would be all for it. Other than that...please no.

I think bots are a good idea. It would certainly get a lot of people i know up to par. Their main complaint seems that they feel useless because everyone is moving so fast.
I would like to suggest a sticky with "Bot Free Servers" tagged on it. And have the server admins include "NO BOTS" in their server name, like they do on css and dods. |

lol i was talking about bots for escape maps (the best tfc could do was turrets with a custom model), but you go and derail it with the old "bots killed my father and raped my mother" discussion sigh

just an idea
how about some hide n seek maps? i was thinking make all the seekers the civilian's and the person hiding be a spy with cloaking only ability, or since cloaking is possible maybe just use a hw mdl, and give him cloak. Or any class doesnt really matter, as long as he can cloak.

I don't mind a few bots. I think they help newer players out more sometimes than a human player. Its a problem when you have servers full of bots though.
Example: A bot playing engineer builds a SG and defends it, never goes on a shotgun rampage just stays with his SG. A human player playing engineer builds a SG, upgrades it to level 3, leaves it and spams EMP, dies, repeat his SG gets killed/sabotaged. A new player watching the bot defend his SG is likely to become a better engineer. This isn't a 100% thing for all we know this new player is a better Soldier than he is an engy but it is an example that a bot can't completely ruin the game. Bots are so set in what they do that a new player can eventually catch on to what they should do instead of becoming pro yard dm bastard. |
