Bodies after death remaining exactly where they landed midair; odd lighting effects

When I kill enemy players, their bodies simply remain where they were killed without slumping to the floor.

Also, there are some odd white lighting effects going on with some player models -- maybe all?

Screenshots of this can be found on my Steam profile, not sure how to upload them to this forum. I will if I can figure it out, though!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Note that I was using a maxframes config from here... http://fakkelbrigade.eu/chris/configs/...but have since stopped using it after these problems arose. I uninstalled FF and reinstalled it, but this did not alleviate the problems.

First check your ragdoll and dynamic lighting settings in FF. If those are set the way you think they should be then I have no idea.

It should be under Fortress Options > Optimize/Dynamic Lighting. Although there's only a few options to choose from regarding regdolls, I wonder if there's actually a console command that will allow you to change it to something other than the available options.

I have changed absolutely nothing from the fortress options other than gameplay > no helpful hints.

Didn't even know these things existed.

Check the ragdoll options there's some option that'll do that with bodies cause the code sucks more ass than a lifetime career sucking ass.

Ragdolls have been fixed (fourth reinstall, for some reason, magically worked), but the lighting issue remains.

Is there a way to "reset" FF in some way, shape, or form, other than reinstalling it? Maybe through the console?

Would uninstalling FF then deleting the SDK help?

*EDIT* Reinstalling the SDK and FF did not help the lighting problem.

Everything is finally back to normal after I spent about 45 minutes in the console.
