New Maddox Article
http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse....gi?u=macs_cant
So, what do you all think of his latest work? Personally, I didn't think it was that great. It was good, but it doesn't measure up to lots of his previous work. |

I generaly don't like maddox anyway. Not so much to say that I hate him, or really even enough to out right bitch about him.
This one though, didn't demonstrate his general talent for articulation. Just bitching. I happen to agree with him about Macs and some Mac users.. but my lack of interest prevails. |

Always up for a good laugh, and Maddox can (sometimes) deliver. This was one of those chortles - not a full blown laugh, but it was humorous nonetheless.
Macs. hah. Though I totally agree with what he said about Realplayer and Quicktime - trouble is, more and more programs are trying to (Steam) do that. ..what? |

Nothing beats his earliest stuff. The Sony one was good, though.

Yah, I used to read his shit religiously 4 years ago. Seems old hat now. Only so much repetitive self righteousness I can stand.

He's like a very, very, very noisy girlfriend. Put him to sleep before he starts showing up on TV.

Other than the fact X-Plane is programed on a mac and Final Cut Pro has finally topped Avid in HD, because of Avid's stupidity in making their program to much for the current hardware, I have no use for apples. I have a Macbook, clocking in at a blazing 25mhz, and a Apple II+, but if I could get a macmini for cheap I would not hesitate, it would be beautiful running gentoo and mame.

I think his articles have somewhat declined in quality since the release of the book. His material isn't infinite.

I like the part about the nuclear/biological weapons. I can't believe that is actually in there :P
