I have never played the original, but I have heard constant praise for it.

The original was unbelievable. One of my all time favorites. Deux Ex 2 was akin to supergluing your naked body to a linoleum floor while fire ants crawl all over you all while Darken Hellspawn reads all of his posts in the Yellow Team thread over and over and over....oh wait...it wasn't quite that good...

I sure hope they don't dumb this down for console players again and screw the pooch...again....
