No, those speeds are not possible in Fortress Forever!

It should be noted that the maps in CPMA are built for that while those found in TF games are not.

CPM physics is a little more complex than the hl1 or source physics, so practice practice practice. I'll be putting together a defrag run map pack later, so if you want it, hit me up! |

Ya not sure how many got removed but I think a few of those are still around also you can removed sv_cheats and the settings get save unless server crashes or you restart the server.
So someone make maps and get a server running Or make a cfg with the commands, something we use to do in the beta when we found good values.

To me CPM just looks a bit 'wrong'.
Quake has always had a certain movement style and the CPM stuff just makes it "like half life" rather than retaining it's own unique breed of physics. The skill of CPM'ers and the quality of the mods are unquestionably brilliant, but it doesn't look right to me. I'm a lot more impressed by the jumping contained in Tribulation, which is surely one of the best trickjumping movies ever made. Good old overbouncing.. |

I agree with you, freestyle is best performed in vq3.
That being said, cpm runs are fundamentally different from vq3 runs, and each is very beautiful. And half-life? Foreal? Q1. Precedence, and a direct prequel. I have to pay homage though, CPM runs wouldn't be possible without the solid foundation from vq3. Here's some of the sexiest vq3 runs I've seen edit help? movie are not showzor!
