map flip respawn thingy

right, ok then hmmz easiest example 2fort, in tfc when you respawn on blue team you will more than likely spawn in upper resupply, however compared to red team you would spawn in far bats resup, obviously this is a bit of a bitch when playing tsp sol. If i remember correctly this was something to do with when you copy and flip the map to make the other base. Q is, does this still happen, and how does respawning work in FF, what factors determine which spawn you respawn at/in

I heard you cant respawn in FF. when you die, thats it, you have to uninstall and reinstall to get another go.

I hadn't really noticed it, but now that I think about it, you're right. I do seem to spawn up by the battlements more often on the red team.

I think it's setup to be somewhat randomized, and not a linearly progression through the spawn points as they were added.

Panties?

What about the mysterious powers of Lua? WOuldn't you be able to make specific classes spawn at different spawns?

I know something along those lines has been done on the terribly poor map Destroy_l

Repsawn randomisation adds some dynamics to the game. If you could spawn top spiral every time on 2fort the offence wouldnt stand a chance.

I honestly miss spawning in the basement...

But, then, at that time you could stack sentry guns 3 high too... >_<

Very true, and that is why designated spawns for offence and defence should be used if necessary, or if it improves the gameplay.

So the spawn volumes in FF have a 'probability' property, right? Right?
