Mass Effect 1 & 2 Steam sale

Mass Effect 2 40% off sale price $23.99
Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition 40% off sale price $35.99

Not sure what the difference between the normal version and Digital Deluxe Edition is.

I've heard lots of good stuff about Mass Effect 1, I just don't know how interested in it I am, even at 5 bucks. As usual, no demo for me to try it.

Mass Effect 1 was awesome if you like a good space themed, heavy on the dialog and choices style RPG (plenty of action too).

The world in Mass Effect 2 is supposedly shaped by your decisions in Mass Effect 1 if you have it loaded and have played through it.

Downloading Mass Effect 2 now. I've been waiting for this to go on sale!

I just picked up the first one for 5 bucks. I've heard good things and figured for 5 bucks it's worth trying,

One of my friends absolutely loves the ME series. If you like Bioware games like KOTOR or Jade Empire, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't like ME.
