Map differs, despite downloading from server?

I got my map uploaded to the Talos server. There's a problem. Everyone who then downloads the map from the server gets the "Your map differs from the server." error, despite having downloaded from the server, and even after manually removing any traces of the map from their ~/maps folder. The same version is on both the fastdl server and the server itself. Apparently another member had this problem, but he's not on right now, so maybe someone else can give me any clues as to why this is happening?

maybe a case sensitive issue? Fast DL server and play server have them in different cases?

If the names were insensitive, wouldn't it just tell me I have the wrong map, instead of saying it differs?

I'm not sure. I'm think it was zE who talked about this before.
