uncapped bhop is quite nice...
The double jump is not going to hurt this game, and if you do, do a double jump off a rampslide or what not its not like your going to be flying as fast as a conc or something... a simple rocket on the ramp will stop you everytime.... take a look at rampsliding on the SD2 ramp... a good solly you wont really get past unless you conc above or what not... |

agree with aftershock
when i started to play bhop was uncapped ( was fun like hell ) but is capped now so be it... and on every single map , no HW to find 2fort 3soldiers and 1 engi openfire = 3 soldiers and 1 engi ( sometimes a demoman ) monkey_l 3 soldiers and 1 engi etc etc that was the most fun tbh Now few years later tactics also changed alot , on every map a hw/demo and so on... And if tactics again have to be changest , so be it , ITS A NEW GAME people who like it iwll play it , other one are gonna play something else.... |

And tbh , they arent gonna play pyro this time either
not because he's now increased in power But i'm sure people are still gonna say its a lame class . Why ? Cause its fucking anoying to be on fire.... you dont see anything when a flame whipes out your vision ... They are gonna play the same classes like in tfc But i'm ok with bhop ( cant play without it :/ ) but not that sure about double jump either... |

You will play pyro, he'll be in matches, and you don't burn like that anymore. No fire sprites fucking up your vision, just a faded out red glow with the damage indicators popping up like normal damage.
I guarantee he'll be used in matches, first top tier team that uses him and wipes the map with the other side will be the only incentive people need. He's fast, he can run as heavy offense and he can plug a hole like no other with his IC now. Stick him in a crowded hallway and watch the kills rack up. Strategies will change, people will quickly adapt and learn the nuances to the skills. They'll find exploits (not bad ones) that we haven't yet and they'll keep us pushing our personal skills to the limits. A lot of players here bash the doublejump on the grounds that it'll fuck up the balance. We've got active TFC league members in the beta that don't say a thing contrarywise about it, seems they've either found it useful or it hasn't changed their play style that much. |
