www.custom-tfc.co.uk is gone...
One of the best websites for custom models, sprites, etc., and now its gone. ):
I had wanted to get replacements for my models after I formatted my HD and now the place I got them from is nonexistant. Sucks, it was a really good site, too. Does anyone else know any other good TFC sites that have a good variety of models for downloads? |

yeah I would have liked to have downloaded all of the customizations that Custom-TFC had, but it would have been... bad without being able to ask all of the authors for thier permission, and that would have been a daunting task considering the number of files on that site. Really sux to lose a site with that many files. Anyhow, my site already has a decent number of files on it, and its been up for about 3-4 years now. I add improvements as often as possible, usually every week or so. I strongly encourage any authors of files at custom-tfc to submit files to hlevolve.com because unlike fragfortress, and other customization sites, I have no idea how long they will last, or what they will end up doing with your files, I however can tell you, that I can easily support hlevolve.com and will not let the site just... disapear into the dust as custom-tfc and tfcustomized.com did.
The Site: www.hlevolve.com (Half-Life Evolution) The nice thing about hlevolve.com... I don't just host files for TFC specifically, I also host files for every other Half-Life mod, if you create a file for a mod that is not listed, inform me, and I will promptly add that mod to the site. If you'd like to hear about some other features the site has, or more in general, I wrote another post here: http://forums.fortress-forever.com/s...8&postcount=24 NOTE to everyone else, if you have the ability to contact authors of files that were hosted on Custom-TFC, tfcustomized, etc and you have thier files, and would like to submit them to hlevolve.com (or even if you don't want to contact them, but you know thier email or other information, submit your file, and add the info to the description box, and I will get in touch with them for you before approving the file) In order to keep TFC as customizable as it was, these files (at least the most popular ones) need to be avaliable again... |

Custom-tfc might come back, apparently Teq still has all the files. The domain is lost though. http://forums.six-games.com/viewtopic.php?t=597 |

The Catacombs also still has all the files that were once on tfcustomized. Whether they will ever finally be made available again is anyone's guess.

I hit up The Gas Chamber's DL page (I primarily play there) but it was missing a few of the files I had.
They had the HIV Med pack so I'm glad about that. ^.^ |

Sorry guys. All Custom-TFC files are still stored on the FTP, and have not been lost. Works are underway for a domain.

Huh. Then the download link was very cleverly hidden. I even opened up the HTML and couldn't find it.
