Do People Play?

From the looks of the Forums it would seem that this game is full of people playing all day. But When i go to join a server through steam i get 45 game servers and the one with the most players has about 8 in there. Am i Doing something wrong?

No, not really, there's more people later on during the day. Right now it's mainly people browsing from work and stuff.

bad timing. People can go on the forums while they are at school/work.. but can't play until later.

Plus the player base is still kind of low. Hopefully it will increase dramatically now that the moddb page has been updated, plus 2.1 is soon to come out so a big pr campaign might be goin down. obviously, no date as to when 2.1 will be out, but im hoping for sooner than later.

lol, i cant remember the last time i played. i spend more time in hammer than i do in FF

though lately i've been only playing poker! started with 5,000 a month ago and now have 23 million(lost 3 mil last night)

I'm too busy not remembering to play to play. Also every time Nezumi tries to get me to play he stops playing before I get on with lame excuses like "My computer is burning" or "My job is having me go to it."

We play, but you know how it is scuzzy..jobs and kids and all that, those things take up time..sides, how many women you know are going to let their husbands sit at the computer all day and play?? Dont know about yours, but mine would have a fit..and if momma aint happy, no one's happy.. on the real tip..

i remember the first day FF was released. just about every server was full. it was an amazing day. there were over 200 servers. then the dreaded TF2 came out and the rest is history.
