is FF really 50% done?? no way....

on Moddb.com it says that Fortress Forever is 50% done...which yes I know its been in development since the summer before HL2 came out but still, theres no way they're this far along with all the great media we've been seeing....or are they?

is moddb full of shens?

I think if your gonna post that kind of rumor it should be accomanied with a link for validation.

Oh, and im not sure we will get a percentage. kind of a odd "first post" unless thats the only reason why you joined.

Its said 50% ever since I joined back like 5 months ago or something. I think we're farther along than that... though I cannot be sure.

Clearly you don't understand developement. Let me explain how it works.

It takes the first half of the time to go from 0% to 50%.

It takes the second half of the time to go from 50% to 75%.

Then, it takes the third half of the the time to go from 75% to 87.5%.

Followed by the fourth half the of time to go from 87.5% to 93.75%...

etc...

So therefore, when viewed over a certain period of time, they are 50% done (with what remains). I would believe it that they are 50% done, if compared to last 50% benchmark.

That 50% number is what rebo chose when initially listing our Mod on moddb. He chose 50% because we had definitely started (i.e., not 0% done) and we were definitely not finished (i.e., 100%).

Average'm and there we go.

We'll probably only update it once we hit a huge milestone. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the 50% # heh.
