18 now, 19 in september. 19 is legal drinking age here, so I'm happy. Having a 22 year old brother, parents that let you drink, and all your friends being of age to buy booze is a very good thing.

How violent can you be with a Spongebob avatar? Come back and see us when you've completed Special Forces Training...then we'll talk violence. (lol...kidding) FWIW, everyone parents differently. My 9 year old knows I've played FPS games but is not allowed to watch or play. Personally I think there's alot to be said for the preservation of innocence. There's plenty of time to become jaded and worldly later on...sadly enough. all alone in the 36-40 bracket[/quote] Funny, for an old guy. You should let your kid play, nobody likes a hypocrite. (Unless you let him play eventually) I'm 82 by the way. No, I'm 16. |

That's not being a hypocrite. That's him being old enough to do something that his son can't. His son will grow up and then be allowed to play, but exposing a 9 year old to FPSs isn't a great idea.
Say he drinks, and his son knows about it. Is he being a hypocrite by not letting his 9 year drink? Of course not. |

can't remember if I posted or not.
I'm 19, be 20 in may. People consistantly think I'm 30...I don't know why. I am balding though, maybe that's why. |
