Need for Speed: Pro Street

Discuss and please if you own it, post your rides!

I find this one of the better NFS games since "Porsche Unleashed"

Here is why:

-Finllay back on the racetracks instead of roaming a city over and over again.
-DAMAGE!
-More muscle!
-Sweet customisation options and FINALLY the option to paste your vinyls over the windows (well, numbers and brands anyway)
-Really fast paced racing-
-Drag racing like it's supposed to be!
-DAMAGE!
-Eyecandy galore!
-did I already say, DAMAGE?

Really now? And they still have name brand cars?

The only NFS games I have played were a little of NFS3 and a shitload of Carbon (which I loved - was tons of fun).

Racing games with name branded cars generally do not like seeing their cars damaged because the manufacturers seem to think that seeing a Porsche driving around with its headlights out on three wheels somehow reflects badly on their craftsmanship.

You know what though? There is no way you are going to be going 160 KPH, slam into a wall, and not fuck your car up a little bit. I am just waiting for some dumb fuck kid to go racing, crash, and sue because "In NFS cars never broke so why do they in the real world?!!11!1".

I'm glad they finally put damage back! At least now you have to control your car, brake at the right moments, don't just speed full throttle down a U turn thinking 'the barrier will swing me around anyway'.

Plus the commentator in between races cracks me up everytime!

Only downside is, when you filp your car, and land on your wheels again, your car is totaled anyway even though it should be possible to drive on even with severe damage.

Brand name cars galore, and more muscle.

Bleh I was interested in it until I saw the car list. Its just another:

"Hey lets throw in a bunch of imported cars, make them way over powered, add the ability to tint windows, add the ability to add stickers, throw in a 60's corvette/camaro call it a muscle car and then we have a racing game!"

I want to have some more Novas, Chevelles, Darts, Challengers, ect. THAT would be drag racing like its supposed to be. Instead they throw things out there that people have seen in movies.

I'm sure its a great game just anymore I can't get into a racing game that is more or less a rehash of the same thing.
