Ok, Im pissed - Page 2

well so far i unistalled steam 3 times and still doesnt work for me and 82 from ae tried lots of things and concluded that it is more than likely a connection problem with the level3 network in dallas, texas. I did some tracer routes to the AE server and it goes through level3 network in dallas and its the one giving me problems over 200ms on random tries. For odd reason, deleting the clientregistry.blob file i can play error free for couple games, then it goes back to its old self with the same problem. But i'll give it a try skank, how do i do this?

go to Start -> Run, type in regedit to bring up the registry. navigate to Program Files -> Valve -> Steam. right click the steam folder and Delete it. then try reinstalling.

like i say, i dont know if this would work, but it might be worth a shot. if not, im lost

Oh you're fucked now Siscos.

Level3 fucked up drippy-'s 2fort connections for like four months back in '07. Everything that's happening to you happened to a whole shitload of people.

If that's really the case the only thing you can do is wait it out.

Ya unfortunately "GameServers" uses level3 as their network provider. When we had a TDM server in San Jose it took level3 like 4 months to add another line to their data center that they had over loaded with machines.
