omg i am mad i don't understand two things,

one: i play FF and all maps i have missing textures (pink/black walls and white lines for some walls) i don't understand this at all along with this:

two: even when i play hl2 i also see a bunch of missing textures!!!1 some one please please help!

try turning all your video settings down to low.

And lower your video settings.

it didn't work it just made my screen look even worse

remove/reinstall everything

But it sounds like a bad vid card but dunno for sure.

Well your not helping us help you very much.

remember a picture is worth a thousand words.

if you don't have the local files tab something is fucked. You wont have it for FF, But you will SDK base and official steam games.

You should really take the time and quote the suggestions you have tried and post the results. Did you try reinstalling steam? you said it wasn't just FF but hl2 also so a reinstall could replace any missing textures you might have. If your missing textures you get the pink/purple and black checker board.
