First off, I do't do brain age.
I have the first one, never fell for it.

I'm a fan of side-scrollers and puzzle games. And I'll do an RPG if it's LONG and entertaining (that's what she said!).

I know lots of people say the new Pokemon was good, but I havn't tried it.

My Games and progress:
Picross DS - Working on it
Zelda - Done
Worms Open Warfare 2 - Nearly fully unlocked
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow - Fully unlocked. Nearly done with hard mode and Julie mode
Meteos - Fully unlocked
Tetris DS - Crack
Yoshi's Island DS - All main levels beat
New Super Mario Bros - All worlds beat
Magnetica - Nearly fully unlocked
Contact - I got sick of it neat the end. They took a good idea and killed it.
Brain Age - LAME

Pokemon D/P is awesome. I'm totally obsessed with those games. I mean, there's more or less zero plot, which is kinda distressing in an RPG, but the fighting system is really fun. The best part of the game is after you beat it, when you're trying to plan out a kickass team.

Like, trying to breed for the right nature, planning out a strategic moveset, doing EV training, all that.

If you're not into that, though, the game is kinda ok. There's at least a bunch more to the newest game than the previous ones, like the underground area and battles over the internet. If you do get one of the games, it really helps to have a friend who owns the other.

Bubble Bobble/Rainbow Island are pretty nice.
Geometry Wars: Galaxies is really fun/addicting.
No Mario Kart DS? Shame on you.
Pokemon is good. Unless you don't like that stuff.
Elite Beat Agents. Great game. If you're going to check that out, also try to import Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! (Both 1 and 2). Great fun.
Jump Ultimate Stars. Arguably the best fighting game on the DS.
Advanced Wars. I always found these games to be a lot of fun.

If your into rpg's could pick up FF3. I picked up Mario Party DS and it's great. Beats the hell out of the new one for the Wii. Also if you don't like Brain Age, which I don't either, try Big Brain Academy, that's pretty fun. Not the Wii version though, anything that's motion based sucks which is unfortunate for Monkey Balls
