youve gotta admit though, it doesnt always work how you'd expect... i was laying prone trying to knife someone at point blank range who was also prone, and they managed to jump away and AR me in the back while i was still laying down. they only realised i was there because they heard my knife

Yeah... I have noticed that the knife attacks are kinda nerfed. I was wondering if that was a hitbox error or not. I remember once that I unloaded a clip of m4, then of the beretta, then drew my knife from 4-5 feet away and ran up and knifed this guy I couldn't hit for some reason, and he turned around and headshotted me with one bullet. I shot at him 47 times, 30 with the 5.56mm and 17 with a 9mm. No hit...

Strange how that happens sometimes.

I got my revenge though, I respawned in another base and snagged the APC (I waited for any tag-alongs... but no one wanted to hop in), came back and fragged his ass 4 times in a row... along with a few of his buddies. I must've gotten something like 18 frags before they decided to work as a team and/or respawn as anti-tank. I still managed to bail in time and hide behind a wall. I went prone in some long grass and switched to semi-auto and picked a few more off before they managed to kill me. I feel honored though, they wasted an artillary strike and an airplane tried to bomb me. I just ran and hid in a small house. I got a message saying "JUST FRIGGIN' DIE ALREADY!!11" I was laughing too hard when a whole group of 3 threw their grenades in my little house and were camping outside. "I killed j00! haha!" said the former CS player. Of course the other former CS players started their typical bitch-fest and I got a tempban. Life goes on.

That's part of some maps. One team onl has one point for sure, and that should give them the confidence to go out and atack the others.

Of course basecamping happens then. THat's the whole point of that game type. The point is that the team without the uncapturable objective is supposed to defend.

Why? I know, as well as you, that they are of a stripe that will never learn. They bring CS in to other games and make them unenjoyable. And somehow, they get the admins/ops on their side.

it's all good now, as the 12 or 13 servers I usually play on now know me as a reg and that I never hack... I just play the game. So I don't even get tempbanned anymore.

Don't say stuff like "I know as well as you" because I don't. I for one happen to enjoy playin CS. It has it's yahoos, but any game does, even TFC. Not everyone who plays it is a moron, and it gets really old after awhile to just say shit about CS.

On TFC, I find one or two on a server...

on BF2, I find 5-8... still a minority considering I only play on 64+ player servers. I am not counting the people who are just "having fun". You know, the annoying habits of taking a vehicle without waiting for others, and so on...

On CS servers I find: 16-28! And that was with me playing on 32 player servers.

By the way: What servers do you play on, FT? I would so love to have just once a good experience playing CS.

You act like when CS came out irritating 12 year old children were invented. Guess what? They're everywhere! Before I went back to TFC, I could find MANY servers without morons on them. You play with a bigger community, you find more morons. You also find more decent players. See how that works? There aren't many in TFC because there aren't many TFC players left. There aren't as many in BF2 because CS is still more popular. Fuck.

aaaaaanyway... BF2 is a great game, but it still has its issues like how infantry are ill equipped to fight anything besides other infantry squads. you shouldn't need half your squad to carry AT launchers just in case an APC or tank comes round the corner..

yeah... it seems lately that if im not in a vehicle (ie. a helicopter) i HAVE to be an AT guy or ill just get raped :/ i hate how it takes 3+ rockets to take out a tank as well - that's just a little ridiculous

support guy's gun also sucks ass unless you're prone. there were countless times i squeezed off a bajillion rounds yesterday while having guys in my crosshair AT CLOSE RANGE while they didn't even see me yet only to have them turn around and kill me with 2 or 3 shots.

if this is meant to simulate reality, it'd be one shot kills with the SRAW/ERYX i think. i dont mind firing two rockets to kill a heavy vehicle, but any more and youre nailed to the wall behind you with rather a lot of heavy chaingun rounds
