Why are so many FF players TFC hackers? - Page 2

I actually didn't know this, just some some claims about it. The irony would be awfully thick here if TFC hackers were responsible for influencing many of the balance changes.

good times raping gator in 5v5 ugc even with him cheating.

It's mainly because they were banned in all leagues, so when FF came out it was a new chance for them to play a similar game in some what of the same community but then it died so all of goodfellas hopes and dreams were washed away.

From what I've heard from a few FF players is that everyone in goodfellas cheated, wouldn't surprise me but I don't know if these players were reliable sources for the FF community.

Not only that it was hard for them to alias and join clans because most TFC clans were respectible and don't let people join with 2 months of history, if they are that good for that amount of time pretty obvious aliasers, it happened alot.

The Funny part is.. The Goodfellas did not cheat in FF...they just kicked ass lol
Especially Gator...Oh how many times he has been accuse of cheating and I'm there behind him watching him kick ass while people accuse him. We end up laughing and having a good time.

I've never heard anyone seriously accuse any of the Goodfellas of cheating in FF. Or did you mean that they cheated in TFC? Because most of them did do that.

That's why I added the comment of them being reliable sources, they could've been some pubbers who just got owned for all I know... Since I don't know FF alias other than former(known) TFC players.

If you hacked, you weren't good. Good players don't need to hack. Playing with settings on the server(so everyone benefits) is one thing, and everyone can have fun with that. Look at the low grav servers. They were a ball to be on. So were many of the ones running NeoTFC.

So.....erm....... yeah..... I can tell you that I've never used a hack on a server, nor will I, because that defeats the purpose of playing.

The real question is...why do you still care?

Since this mod has been out no one has addressed it and no one will address it. Why? Because this is Fortress Forever, not TFC.

Do I like any of them? No. they're assholes, but that's a personality flaw that just doesn't jive with mine.

It makes perfect sense to me as to why they're here in FF. FF is a fringe game, it doesn't appeal to the average player. The fringe of the TFC community will come and make the festering core of the FF community.
