No, if you look at how default flag works it also goes straight through the player. The problem is that currently the flag does not rotate when the player rotates so if you put something on their back it could end up on their front

What about in front of the player? Instead of editing the flag, edit the soccer ball.

I could edit the ball, but I couldn't replace the flag with it. It would still sit in one spot and not rotate when the player rotates because of how the code is.

Maybe this is something our coding guys can work on for the patch after next.

I mean, aside from Christmas presents, there's American footballs, basketballs, kegs, etc. to possibly replace it with. I'd kinda hate for us to be limited to flags and footballs (soccer balls) forever because of a coding snafu.

Yes, but the nice thing about this is that Jester is on the dev team, so whatever the hell he needs for us to be able to put a christmas box onto a back like the flag can be done.

If it can't be setup so the flag's modded, then a new entity gets created. Shit, we need more than a flag and a goddamned soccer ball anyway.

I want to see a winter pack from the FF devs one of these days, including maps, skins and models. :P Though, I'm sure it never happen... just a thought.
