This is usually how I acquire software as well. I feel that in order to truly evaluate the program, I need to try the full version for an extended period. Once I begin to get what I would consider value from it, I will usually shell out the cash for it.

To an extent, yeah. But in capitalism your dollars represent you, and what kind of product you like. If you really like something, can afford it, and want to see more quality products from the same company- go ahead and buy a copy.

A lot of software companies coughadobecough will make minor changes to their software and then re-sell it for wtfbbq dollars. Not so into that.

i also wanted the rights to distribute stuff i make from it. its a no brainer really.

i need to buy some other audio software pretty soon. i've kinda made everything FF related in it..
