do you think i'll be able to run FF well enough to participate in higher level play? I may be buying a new comp anyway just because i need a non-outdated desktop, and i need a pimp machine for FF or i will cut myself
Do you need a laptop? If so, then that should be a decent laptop for gaming (although AMD CPUs suck these days).

I've got an 80GB HD. It's the only one.

I'm constantly fighting to keep usage down. Uninstalling old games, etc. It sucks.

I got one of those 320gb seagate drives a while ago and an old 200gb maxtor I bought with my computer. The 320 seems to do pretty well, I only really use the 200 as a backup for my music collection and games I've converted to ISO (I get tired of switching cd's to play different games).

I'm considering buying one or two more of the 320's when prices drop and trying some of that raid stuff but wont unless I need it. I couldn't imagine only having an 80gb hard drive, I guess im just lazy.

1.6 GHz is damn slow... but I have no idea how AMD does their math with all their stuff...

If I tell you that I'm using a hp dv6000 now, that is almost the same thing but with less memmory and a worse GPU (1gig and a 6150, wich doesn`t make that much diff.) and it's pretty shitty.

I know the feeling. I got Windows XP Pro installed on a 40 gig, and a 30 gig for data and stuffs.

It IS a constant battle, especially since that Guilty Gear soundtrack added over a gig to my usage >_<

"that Guilty Gear soundtrack" = ~20 CDs, though.

TELL ME IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

20 cds and only 1gig? 128 bitrate? Anything other than this would result in much larger files
