I'm rubbish, I have never had the opportunity to watch The Simpsons the same year they originally aired. I catch the oldies from the 90's on c4.

Got to see this though.

It came out here today, but not really dying to see it (is anyone? they left it so late...). It's getting favourable reviews though.

The past 7 or so seasons have been a disappointment, I'm not going to give the movie the chance.

First: TOTALLY AWESOME!
Second: WAY TO SHORT

If you are worried that the movie will be the downfall, you are mistaken. For someone who thought that the show has gone down hill, I was VERY impressed with the movie.

I just got back too.

It was just a double-episode of The Simpsons, really. Some neat little effects that you won't see in the cartoon animation, and some things that they've been wanting to do but never could and finally can because it is a PG-13 rated film. (Words, gestures, drug references, etc.)

Other than that, it was about an hour and fifteen minutes. And it still felt too long. I wasn't really that impressed.

Futurama movie plz.
