Tribes was fucking awesome. You could even ski, for crying out loud.

I spent so many fucking hours on TRIBES. I fucking love the game.

It truely was a revolutionary game. Had vehicles well before any other online game (that I know of). Even had commander type stuff like battlefield. People said Halo was ground breaking. It didn't do anything that this game wasn't already doing.

I was un-stoppable with the mortar launcher!

I know the community will figure it out. I remember reading somewhere that last year something in the number of 20,000 people were STILL playing the game.

I was really looking forward to running a TRIBES server alongside my FF server... I love that game.

I mean, you can still like go into console and connect manually, but there would not be a built-in way to browse games. *cry*

Yeah, it actually does not shut down until August 16th, so you have some time to try it out.

I will reinstall it and endeavor to search for a (mostly) unmodded server. I recall one in the Canadas somewhere. When I find one, I will post the name/IP in a new thread.

Not my biggest priority since I gots a date tomorrow, though. Woo!
