This mod is awesome.

Hell, it could possibly be better then TF2! (We'll have to wait and see).

My favourite class so far has been the sniper because I've been popping so many headshots. Still have to try Engineer and Demo. Off to do that now

Great release. A lil rufer around the edges than I thought it would be but non the less the game is really great.

My first map was cornfield which is really good it was even better in the fact Uncle Argon was on the server too helping people how to play!

Loving all the remakes and I really like ardvark!

Definitely LOVE the feel...I normally HATE playing light classes like Medic, but I found myself loving playing medic...this coming from an old school TFC D Solly whore.

Yes the 45 degree thing is a little annoying, but it makes for interesting rounds when you're Winston Churchhill in Hunted! I escaped with a 45 Degree view of the world, and also died swinging against a Sniper at a 45 degree angle...makes dodging nails quite tricky!

The only two things I noticed as a medic that kinda threw me a little off...

The range of the SG is a little long. The initial target seems like it can hit you from seemingly anywhere. On shutdown2 I was able to trigger an SG from the corner of the 2nd floor (right before the bend to the wooden plank) from where the sniper deck was. I'll Screeny it next time, but that seems a little long to me.

The Heavy at a distance seems to have really good aim with the AC. I dunno if this is intentional or if its just something that needs to be tweaked, but in aardvark I can be hit pretty often by an enemy HWG from the other side of the map before I conc off the respawn deck.

Other than that...I noticed no issues that made me want to cry foul. The one server I was in was having issues with their elevators killing everyone that got on them, and their doors were all screwed up, but I dunno if that was a FF issue or just a unique server issue.

Otherwise, an AMAZING job.

I take this all back, a streak of bad servers gave me a BAD impression. Played for a few hours this morning and it ran beautifully. The ONLY thing I miss is 2Fort and the ONLY things that are messed up (Major ones for myself) are the doors and elevators.

i think the actual 2fort was supposed to be the credits but they screwed up with the texture resolution

1st impressions - very impressed

Spy--- now a class that is more lethal then just ha ha ha foooled uuuu not plaid yet though
Scout--- n/a
pyro--- burn! more damage taken from them not yet plaied as though
Soldier--- all around the same, nailgrenade slower shooting but stronger nails ?!?! cant tell
hw--- all around the same... ac gun charge up a big big bonus.. takes a skill to master proper terms and conditions
engy--- takes some geting used to building at a press of a button however that is better then funky menus - emp splash damage the same ? cant tell without more time in game
medic--- n/a same as before maybe a bit more stronger? still not plaied
demo--- same as before , maybe a bit less on the nade shooting distance ?!?! need to play to see n/a
sniper--- never have plaied as him much, from what i got snipered from i can say he is on par, slower recharge on sniper ? unable to know without more time playing

maps----- the maps are not direct ports so you might find yourself being thrown off a bit say on dustbowl but other then 2fort i say they are all in good order , from what i can tell.. 2fort on the other hand is not really 2fort from tfc as i wash hoping, it plays out more like the tf version if i remember correctly only in the tf one the flag room was far back, ( or am i thinking another map ? ) anyhow that should not be a problem because i know others are working on a source ported version , the game is great fun and brings be right back in line with the challenge and fun of what was the fortress mods enjoy !

I wouldnt let Uncle Argon teach you how to play. That will put you at a disadvantage right from the start. If anyone wants real FF lessons, I will try and get my steam working by tommorow. I still havnt played release yet lol

First impressions:
-New pyro is AMAZING. Truly a force to be reckoned with now. His weakness is still long range (which is balanced), but he is pretty lethal up close. I love the crazy screaming you can make people do too. The flamethrower jetpack thing is also awesome.

-HW Guy seems to be doing more damage than he did in TFC. He also seems to have more range.

Will write more later--class now.

First Impressions-
After, I stopped playing from the lagging, max slot server on Push,
I was looking around the server list , the second time, oh! found a 1/22 slot server with the map as Monkey. So I joined, and went on green , started to run around, 1 guy on red, was having 1v1 until like 7-8 other people joined in the next 5/7 minutes. It was a blast!, ending with score of 20|57
Damnit, I shoulda took a picture of my headless body by my lvl 3 sg, lol.

FF is sweeeeeeeeet





[Like I said before, just needs a training mode or bots for offline only]
