FF Linux dedicated / net.cpp problem

Hello!
I just installed Fortress Forever as a dedicated Server on
my Debian 4.0/AMD root.

When i start the Server i get the following:

Connection to Steam servers successful.
VAC secure mode is activated.

The Server seems to not exist, the server browser tells "server ist not responding".

Any idea?

Start parameters are (started from a .sh file, this works for sourceforts, css, openarena and gungame):

-game FortressForever \
+maxplayers 22 \
+sv_lan 0 -console \
-pidfile ${SRDCS_PIDFILE} \
-tickrate 33 \
+map ff_dustbowl \
+ip 88.198.26.14 \
-port 27020 \
+sv_lan 0

Omnibot isn't shipped with FF, never has been. I don't see any assertion error. Is your server actually loading?

i dunno , im a newbie at those stuff, its just a server console error that shows always.

Did you open your server ports. Sorry had to ask not trying to treat you like well ya know.

Ok, exactly what line above do you see as the error and problem you're having? The guy 2 years ago had the following error:

net.cpp (960) : Assertion Failed: 0 == iRet && iValLen == sizeof( iVal ) && cSendBufSize <= iVal

His server was not loading.

1) Is your server loading?
2) Can you connect to it?
3) Are you getting the net.cpp Assertion Failed error?

It is a brilliant idea of you to install fortress forever as your dedicated server on debian. It is one of the best in my opinion except for the fact that now you have some issues with it. I never had a problem using it and so did my friend. I think this issue seems to be with many people using this now. Personally, I think it’s the makers fault so you have to check it with them. It is certainly not good if it shows that the server is not responding!

Just to note: the omni-bot loading errors do not prevent the server from starting.

Yep, always that error in console, but server works, but theres a lot of other ff errors about rmaterials and stuff in server start logs. But seems not to afect it so its ok.
