World and Face Texture Properties

Hi

Is there anyway to remove both these properties from a texture face... because I accidently clicked on one while texturing a sloped curve and now the textures have messed up on that bit, while the others without the face and world properties are fine.

Once you click one of the tick boxes you cant unclick them Any ideas?

Cheers.

using the texture tool, select a good face that touches one of the bad ones, then Alt+rightclick on the bad one. then select the newly aligned face, and Alt+rightclick on the next one etc.

You need to learn voodoo. If you understand why alt-right clicking does what it does, all will become clear and you will be able to texture that arch.

Finally

I basically resized the texture beneith the slope to 0.35 and then did the alt click thing from that texture to the slope. If I tried to resize the texture once it was on the slope it messed up again, so I had to do it this way.

As you can tell I'm bored

Gothic architecture is really good fun, its alot more interesting that the curvy architecture theme which is as common as mud.

That is still not aligned, your texture shift values are off. I've found that arches and similiar curves are still done best with brushes. not displacements. It is easier when you align to world or face, you just need to rotate the texture 180 degrees the other way, without needing to modify the x or y texture shift values.

i would just set all the textures to face, then select them all at the same time and "treat as one" then hit top allignment, then either left or right allignment. i dont see what the problem is, as none of them need rotation, just alignment.

Its not a displacement... I had to seperate it into triangles so hammer didn't corrupt the curve on save.
