Why use Models?
Besides having the easy of using copy/paste to put in someone's great model design into your map, what is the purpose of models? Do they help frame rates or lack lighting properties or what?

they help with framerates, they have different lighting effects, you can give them more detail, and they can be animated.

Basically what's above. They drastically save in building effort, make the map look more professional and detailed, increase it's performance, etc...
Basically, use em if you can. |

it's not that models increase performance, they only decrease it less than brush based geometry does.
