id like to see warpath like the hl2dm version i think it is, kind of like a desserted area with dust flying around and real hot like an old western thing, and command points 2 and 4 maybe have no walls so there easier to get and its not spam fest but have everyone spawn closer to gate at start so if it comes to last point they dont have to walk up that long ramp and have the other team cap untouched like usual and they actually get to fight them off

I was bored tonight so I did a little pre-compile and started ripping around the map. Here's a few screenshots of the water area and a couple others.
Under the bridge: In the Cave: Spawnpoints: Between points 4 and 5: "+showbudget" at CP3: Cave looking out to Bridge: Bumpmapping rocks: I took the 5th picture for comparing the difference in rendering being done between the newer version of the map and the older version (as seen in the video) |

I think the maps about ready to hand off to the dev team for their opinions, so if one of you guys wouldnt mind contacting me via PM or my MSN so we could figure out a way of getting these files to you.

My one suggestion is remove that farking ladder from under the bridge. I don't care how the ramp goes, but just get rid of that last ladder bit. Oh, how I hate that ladder.

It's just an annoyance, to have to run up a ramp and then climb up a latter. It's like "WHAT THE FUCK? wwwdotwhattheFUCKdotcom!" (Denis Leary.)

Looks amazing, almost identical to the original yet with so much more depth.
Hopefully youll suprise us with a new path or ridge or building or two just to make it play a bit newer. It looks though like a map remake Valve would make for TF2. |

The map is sitting exactly how it was when the screenshots were taken. I lost my compiled version somewhere along the lines and had to go back and do some of the work again but it didn't take long. I need to look over what I've finished cause im getting a few strange texture problems with the lighting not falling right but I dont think it's a huge problems. Progress is basically at a standstill without everything else needed to finish. I dont have the drive to finish it really so when the time comes I'll probably end up passing this off to someone willing to do the entity work, I have much more things to deal with now.
