Some quick TFC questions

I've been looking through TFC's files, and I've noticed some strange things in them. Can anybody explain some of this?

"Game_nolives
{
You have no lives left.
}"

Is this from some sort of gamemode that was never implanted? Is there even support for it in Hammer?

}"

I'm guessing this is from another gamemode that was never implanted.

"YOUR BATTLE ID: %i5"

I have no idea what this is.

ABILITIES
Can set large explosive devices.

Found in the Demoman's description file. is this an unused ability?

Derp, I thought it was "Can see large explosive devices".

Actually, I've seen that "Battle ID" on some servers some time back. Haven't seen it recently, though.

I saw it yesterday on a tfc pickup server. You enable it by setting tfc_clanbattle 1. The battle id is the unique participants id ingame. I think it's purpose is if you disconnect and wan't back in without someone else taking your slot. The client have to use setinfo tf_id to the designated battle id to get back in or if you wan't another player to take his slot.

I know there was support for the limited lives thing in Hammer, but I don't remember the particulars of how it worked. I don't know of any map where it was ever used.

I've never heard of anything related to an ability to start a new team.
