Great media update guys, especially for SD2. That rmap sentry looks really menacing!
Monkey's flagroom looks like a great arena for some action, looks a bit longer than current, or is that due to the FOV? And a lovely anticipation boost by saying Beta is close. Top stuff |

That was a two towel update. (One for the release date alone).
<3 I love the soldier doing balet, and It's cool to see all the concept art even now. If you've got any more up your sleeves toss it our way! By the way, I forsee myself being in the beta. I'm still the official soothsayer around these parts, remember. |

Aint that Hwguy AC floating there? To be talking the truth, I dont care so much if Im in the beta or not. I rather play FF for fun when ever I want than participate on the bug crush when FF team feels like it |

Exciting news... and media as well! The conc effect looks like it'll rock in live action. I assume there'll be a window somewhere on monkey where you can see, well, a room of monkeys. Guess it would be a good time to get into Hammer again.

It looks absolutely superb. I can't wait to get my hands on it....
Returning to the subject of graphics cards and performance: are you still sticking with the idea that if somebody can run HL2, they will be able to run FF even better? |

More nice work from the development team. Very very nice work.
It looks like all of your work is blending well together and looking really good as a whole when actually in-game. The mapping is really nice and it is good to see more Shutdown2 screenshots and those Monkey_l shots look really nice too. I love its style; very simple, clean and open. I am interested by the new caltrops. My only guess is they act like a normal grenade ie. beep beep beep bang and they spread more with a greater density also. I guess we can only wait And your sentry guns... They looke absolutely amazing and can't wait to get circle strafing them and jumping up on top them whilst trying to evade their fire The new concept sketches for some of the classes look really nice too. I am liking the new HW and Engineer sketches that have emerged. Dr_nick, I really like your style, I think I should start drawing again I like the idea and appearance of the conc's pixel shader effect. Can I ask if any of the other weapons/grenades have this effect applied? Such as the detpack. Again, very nice work and I am looking forward to seeing this video you have mentioned, and most of all, I am already preparing myself for many days and their nights spent playing Fortress Forever |

Hey, I just noticed the demo pipes in this picture are staying on the ramp.
Hooray for improved pipe physics! Last edited by o_nezumi; 07-17-2006 at 12:22 PM. |
