Gaming PC for Sale
I thought I'd post here first before trying to sell it on craigslist or ebay. I'd much rather give back to the FF community.
Over the past few months I've been upgrading my current PC and now I find myself with enough parts to build a completely separate, pretty badass, gaming computer. The specs are as follows: AMD 64 x2 6000+ @ 3ghz per core 4x1gb Corsair DDR800 (pc6400) ram MSI K9N-SLI Platinum Motherboard Seagate 320gb 7200rpm sata hard drive XFX Geforce 9800 gtx video card (675mhz core) Antec P182 Case CoolerMaster 500w Power Supply LG DVD Burner - IDE Coolermaster Hyper TX2 Heatsink and Fan I will also install Windows Vista x64 and Office 2007 Pro (both licensed copies and fully activated) All together the hardware cost me around $1200 and and $1800 with software, but I'd be willing to sell it for $700 (including shipping) or $675 if you're in the Atlanta, GA area. If you're interested, please come see me in irc #ff.gr or email me at combs.eric@gmail.com Thanks all, illo

Do you think that's a reasonable price? It's a damn good comp.

Honestly, if it's in good shape and I had the $700 to shell out, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Do you take monthly payments?

All of the components are used, however has never been overclocked or has even gotten very hot. I think there are 4 or 5 case fans in the Antec P182 which keep everything nice and cool. The Coolermaster TX2 keeps that cpu running around 40c and maybe 45 on load. I take VERY good care of my things, especially my computer stuff. You have to when you're an IT admin, haha.

I'm in the Atlanta area, but of course am currently broke since my daughter went to college. Looks like a good price to me. Looks like it's time to get my mom to sell off my pinball machine and video game she has in PA for me...

I can just imagine, at the low price... You buy the PC, open it up to be sure... and it turns out that there is a C4 planted inside it.
BOOOOOM! Of course, you have 100% feedback - there was nobody alive to give you anything lower. You threatened the others to give you a good feedback I'd rather just buy the RAM and graphics card by itself.

IF I could buy it, I'd strip it down and "transplant" stuff to my old (t)rusty.

Meh - no c4 here You can ask any of the guys who know me well - teh_rape or cloud from gr and they'll tell you I'm a trustworthy guy. The computer will either be sold on here or on craigslist/ebay - I was just hoping to give someone in FF a pretty nice computer for a good price to help grow the community by 1 or something, lol.

Need a new PC around the £300 mark. Just a shame we're a zillion miles away.
That and I'm too stingy to actually part with 300 quid, not that I have anything better to spent it on, but still... |
