Great idea, although it's really hard to see that it's a flag the dude is carrying, and the outline around the silhouette looks a bit sloppy. I do like how the guy really does look like he is moving, which is a major factor in this mod. Maybe you can somehow integrate the grenade in there too (make him hold it with his other hand, make him run away from it or something) so it doesn't have to be placed on the back.

For a final image I'd like to do it vector. Right now the outlines are done with layer effects in Photoshop, so it looks pretty bad.

I agree on the flag, Rockwell. I've fiddled with that like crazy. Now it looks like a dolphin that's been cut in half.

The shirts need Fortress Forever written on them if the logo is used. For those that don't know the FF logo is also used for some skater brand stuff. I forget what its called.

Also, I think the grenade, at least on the back is necessary. I like the contrast of a guy running on the front with the weapon on the back. Plus it's iconic and, despite being in every game, symbolic of TF. You could use Circ's latest 'back' image, and put a few small grenades at the feet of the FF symbol.

(and Ihmhi's right, if the shirts are being sold for only what they cost to make, no one can get in any legal trouble)

Cool, man. I wish I could help out, but the only suggestion I can offer is to formally resolve to do it, and then establish a donation means for the community to help you fund the setup (before actually paying for the shirts.) I'd drop at least $10 on it.

I can afford the materials myself. Whether I do it for FF or not, I want to start silkscreening my own shirts anyway. But if I've got the shit, I might as well.

Could this potentially mean that if we don't like an element of the communaly decided default shirt we can just change it a little and get a customish shirt out of it?

Not that what has been posted so far is bad by any league, I just personally think a giant grenade on the back would look strange. The FF logo is nice

They'd only be an extra $10 or so. From the pricing I'm getting right now I could do a run of fifty shirts at $10+shipping each and turn a profit. 'Course I don't think I can do that with FF, so I'll just have to calculate cost.

Yeah, pretty much. If I've already got the shirt, then it's just the extra screen cost, plus any extra ink I might need.

This is why bulk orders are cheaper, and why people do pre-orders first.
