Firefox Cache Issues?

I've been having this problem on and off with firefox where it will replace an image on a website with another image from the website. Sometimes it's the images are the same size so it's not too annoying, but other times it will replace tiny images (like a smiley) with a huge image (like the FF logo up top).

Clearing the cache and then re-starting the browser seems to fix it. Any ideas on fixing/preventing this?

Have you tried creating a new firefox profile?
