Although the idea seems stupid it could turn out alright. I personally play Dead or Alive 4, one of the most balanced fighting games out IMO.

Yes, Endless Duel was for ZSNES, and it is actually one of the most balanced fighting games I've played with two exceptions:

Wing and Wing Zero get an extra super move.

Epyon makes Shin Akuma look like a pussy.

little update...

all the no fatality bs has been clarified. Mk characters and DC villains will still perform fatalities. DC heroes (superman, batman, flash) will perform finishing moves that dont kill the opponent, but still hurt like a bitch. so even though its rated teen (they have been pushing the boundaries of the T rating), all hope is not lost.

Seems like Green Latern and the Joker will make an appearance. The Joker hardly comes as a surprise though. But that's still pretty awesome. But I kind of doubt it would be the 'old' joker (think: comic books, batman returns, batman animated series) instead of the Joker of The Dark Knight.

Sorry I don't have a link atm, but it doesn't matter since there weren't any screenshots anyways.
