Texture Pack: 4 team colors
Well, i got working on a new map, a CTF map, and decided to pop out some textures, so because of that I am going to release it to the public for approx. 4 days, if someone else can host it, that would be awesome, but anyhow. The pack includes 52 "metal" textures and 4 "lights" textures. All these textures are originally Valve textures, but i edited them with team colors. There are some floors, walls and other things. Check them out, i will post a screenshot of what they look like in game, so you dont have to Download for no reason.
Textures are: 512x512 except the lights. Each texture has a Green, Blue, Red and Yellow version of it. So technically there are only 14 textures x 4. Like i said these are all metal and lights. I will be releasing "Plaster", "Concrete" and "Glass" in the next few weeks, so stay tuned. Now for the link: http://www.pottspets.net/jonathan/FF_textures.rar (as i said it will be up for around 4 days so get it now) |

Good effort, but I'd seriously tone the colour down Check the team colours in various games and check out the kind of colour used, then try to emulate that.

Add more darknezzzzzzz to it and some woren off paint spots
Going to make a texture pac some day my self. At this far I have been all good by using some parts of the hl2's and cs:'s textures. They look good that way too but bit too sucky. Nice pack. Looking forward to your update |

Next time could we see examples of your work compiled? with careful lighting your textures will look 10x better than full bright hammer screenshot, nice start as making textures from scratch is very time consuming, part being all the ones you delete.

2 things:
1) Do you want me to host it for you? I have tons of room and bandwidth. 2) Can you post a link to a .rar reader? Edit: I answered my own questions: 1) FF Textures by dr Zauis - Right click --> save link as. Hosted by Mooga. I'll host it until for a while. The general rule is that if I find it on my server and I don't know what it is, I delete it. But with all this room... 2) http://www.7-zip.org/ - It's not that easy to use but it's 100% free and open sorce. You may also want to post this is the Maping Section... |

I would like to submit these 4 logos for the FF game, i still need
to do some work a them, but the basics are roughed out. http://www.pottspets.net/jonathan/logo.jpg Also i have taken down my old texture pack and I will be releasing a new one before the weekend of all new textures, as well as redone ones, edited to look more aged, not so bright, as well as my logo pack. Filled with multiple versions of the redone TFC logos. The work is all mine btw, nobody elses |

Tell me what you think about the logos though guys. Im going to make a true logo for each team using the same look, but it will look like real nuts and bolts are holding it on the metal. |

I really love the logos, except for that toothy bit on the red one coming out of the bottom edge. It reminds me of this pumpkin I carved when I was like... 8. Heh.
