Xfire & Steam

Hi guys, Xfire & Steam both are showing no servers running, what is the best time to see any servers up and running to get a game, cheers

Generally around 4-5pm through midnight EST. There's usually people playing around then, or if you just join a server people are likely to follow. The in game browser should work.

Thx for reply, i just checked both steam and xfire, and i see not even empty servers up, is it something wrong my end, when i check other games, i see servers up for them, so i reckon my firewall is ok

Are you using the in game browser? The steam browser is really hit or miss with older source mods.

Here's the IP for motos server which is usually the most played on:

74.91.114.247:27015

People also play on OT some times but I don't know the IP off hand.

Yes just steam in game browser, what other program could i use, tried xfire with no joy, is there any where for me to check so i could add manually thx

There's a uk server that's slightly less popular. Don't know that IP off hand either.

A few people play in there fairly regularly, and some times when there's a little more americans will go play there too.

Thx guys, shame the in game server browser does not work thou, as like me, im sure others see no servers up in browser, then they move on and play something else, shame as i love FF, hopefully if when it gets on steam officially, the server browser will work, thx

When steam master list is down you could check here for ip's and add them to favorites.

Anyone know what the game path and detect path is to start up FF, i want to add to xfire and my all seeing eye, as i think its changed recently, cheers

The paths have to be correct for your specific computer. Alternatively, if either of those programs understand URIs:

Well in the end i deleted all my firewall exceptions and let the program add them again, and now i see all the servers listed properly, thx for help everyone.

When in moto's you can type certain things and get a .wav file to play for the whole server to listen to.

Some notable examples:

scatman
log
yellow
morn

To activate them, simply activate the "Talk" button (Y by default) and then type the above phrases for a funny sound to play!

You can find a complete list of sounds by typing
