For the admins (and anyone trying to register)

[s]If you're using firefox, don't bother. the CAPTCHA image verification won't ever show with any version of firefox I've seen, you need to use IE to see it. In other news, I'm back (S.A.M. without the dots) and that's why it's taken so bloody long to rereg after the forums died.[/s]

Found it, Redirect Remover 2.3 doesn't like them. Good thought on adblock but I already had FF on the whitelist. Thanks for everyone that helped (all four of you)

I'm willing to bet the 2 minutes you had to use IE in order to register in the forums was just agony.

Firefox worked fine for me. You're probably missing a plugin somewhere.

I've got a vanilla version of Firefox that I registered with, no plugins or anything, worked fine. He may be blocking images for some reason.

then it must be agony for me to use IE right now. oh look, the browser works without having to download tons of useless addons. the pain, the horror, the no spyware because I actually adjusted the settings.

Sounds like an "eye-dee-ten-tee" error to me.

Well, good to know SOMEONE on the forums is smarter than the average /b/tard. I checked that, CAPTCHA images are on adblocks whitelist.

You would think that if you had got the ad-block plugin, you would've checked there first. Its about the only thing that blocks images.

No, the one to the right of it is. Blurred out because they're private trackers, just not bothered to rearrange and put everything how I want since formatting.

Found it anyway. Redirect Remover also blocks captcha images and some hotlinked pictures.
