When I read about a TF being released for Half-Life, I preordered Half-Life. (That brought me to TFC)

I don't play it anymore because of the updates and the community *thumbsUp*

For myself, its not always the game that keep you playing, but the people you game with that can make it worth while.

I like the arcadey feel, the interesting class mechanics, and the natural teamplay.

I still actively play it because I love clan matches and I love playing clan-style scout with all the advanced bunny hopping and concing. I'm also in a really well organized clan with great people who manage to keep things fun and interesting. Also, I've been playing TFC at a pretty decent level for so long that I find it frustrating switching to other games and discovering that I'm not as good as other people.

For me, TFC has evolved into the absolutely perfect game. The best things - concing and other movement techniques which are central to gameplay - all happened pretty much by accident and I can't really see another game ever managing to match them. Apart from FF of course, which, since the release of the movement video, has once again stirred up my waning levels of excitement.

It's surprising really, looking at some people you wouldn't expect them to play games (TFC).

Example: Apparently she plays TFC:

I'd probably still be playing TFC actively if all my friends who I met online still continued to play it. Once they left I got tired of all the BS associated with clans and league play. Just going out to a pub got boring as well after 7 years.

TFC was just there when I registered my steam account with HL so I figured I would try it. It has its problems but it can be good if you get on a good server. JOLT FTW
