Controls are arguably better.
Also the GC edition comes with a bonus disk, where OOT is all flipped around. It's apparently a lot more difficult.

Is the GC version of OoT any different from the N64?

My N64 OoT cost 2.50$ from a pawnshop.
well, it depends if you had the original version. if you did, then yes, there are some differences. the fire temple music has no muslum chants. and there is no star and moon symbol on the sheild, looks like MM's shield. i think Etzell is thinking of the Master Quest version, I'm not sure if the collection disk has it. hell, you could just search Master Quest and you got that, but it only comes with OoT and the more diffucult master quest, collection comes with MM, i think zelda 1 and link to the past, and OoT. if all you want is OoT, get the master quest.

Yeah, sorry, I was thinking of the Master Quest edition.
Roms for N64 games are terrible, unless you have a controller.

I think with Project64 you can map the controls to the keyboard, but I'm glad I had a logitech usb controller laying around.

Anyone familiar with zelda classic?

It's a pc-based editor so you can make your own zelda 1 games. A friend of mine is making the most epic zelda quest 'liek evar'.

Seriously. Epic.

I used to have fantasies of being Link and screwing Zelda.

Do I need to talk to someone about that?

No, there are far more disturbing aspects of your life that should be examined first.

It depends on which "Link" you are.. and which "Zelda" you're screwing.

I'm assuming 8-bit.
