Fortress Forever wallpapers [Fan-art]

Hey there.
I decided to make some FF wallpapers in the style of the TFC and (ancient) TF2 logo designs.

I can do some bigger versions of this if you'd like, because everything is in vector format and is easily scalable.

This one isnt big enough for a full sized desktop unless you enjoy working in 800x600 resolution.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum area, I dont think you have an Art section yet.

edit: Updated images

Ooh, very nice! I like it. My two cents of input:
- It looks very orange. Not that it's a bad thing, but it isn't TFC yellow-greeny coloured.
- "Fortress" looks a bit high compared to the top of "Forever". A few clicks down?

I think it looks pretty good. Tiki's right about the color scheme, but the ones you chose still look very nice. Detail in the second one down is very good.

Damn good.
Oh, and welcome to the forums.

I especially like "a true classic never dies". Is the text slightly off center though? Also, a bit more space can be afforded between "forever" and the modification text. Also, if you are using photoshop, try making the orange layer a solid color and change it to an overlay, it will better appear as if it is on the wall.

Really nice Norn. I like the way the circle bit is dripping spray paint.

I updated the images a bit. The Fortress text wasnt lining up properly, and I changed the layermode to overlay to get that real painted on effect.

Perhaps it is valid to stay away from Valve's symbols and concepts and create our own. They allready seem pretty edgy about Fortress-Forever creating such a successful rewamp of TFC.

Perhaps you should try experimenting with the symbol that Nar created in this thread It's not official but it's somewhat accepted as a possible symbol for FF.

That one is tempory awfulshot, the dev team is constantly arguing over what logo to use heheh.

The one norm made was based on the old TFC logo. Its very nice but we will be using something that reflects our mod rather than reuse a logo we didnt make.

Why not ask the community? Post some images, start a poll, advertise the poll on all of the websites, and in turn FF gets a logo along with increased userbase.

I like them, my only constructive comments, are the spray paint on the second image looks a little... pixellated.

But as I said before, I like it.
