The hardware thread
Im curious to find out what kind of computers you guys all have. What kind of hardware do you got? what are your avg FPS for some of the most common games? 3DMark scores? Pictures are always a plus

MSI K8N-Neo2 Platinum 2x512mb Corsair XMS DDR 400 256mb eVGA GeForce 6800 GT Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 Western Digital Raptor II 74GB 10,000RPM SATA HD Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000 Tower Logitech MX-510 Gaming Mouse Thermaltake GAMMA PAD Gaming Mouse Pad Plextor PX-716A 16x DVD-R/RW/4x Dual Layer DVD+R 19" SAMSUNG SyncMaster 997DF-T/T DynaFlat CRT Monitor cable 4mbps down/384kbps up I'd say about 130-170fps depending on effects and action in HL2 on 1280x1024 with max details and 4x/8x and approx 11,500 in 3dmark03 with no overlocking. |

Currently:
- Athlon64 3200+ (S939, stock cooling and speeds) - DFI Lanparty Ultra-D - OCZ PC3200 Dual Channel VX ram at 2-2-2-8 (2x512mb) - ATI Radeon 9250 (128mb, PCI) - Audigy 2 ZS - Western Digital 7200RPM ATA133 160GB - Coolermaster Wavemaster (black) - Blue Logitech MX510 mouse - some plain old gel mouse pad - LG DVD-RW - 17" Samsung 710T LCD DVI (12ms response, wicked ass monitor!) - I use both the Logitech Z5500's and some Plantronics Audio .90's for sound - crappy DSL As of next week (Monday?) I will be replacing my video card with an ATI X800xl ($400 canadian for an official ATI at NCIX btw), depending on cash, I may also be picking up a Zalman CNPS7700-ALCU PS: Easily bested by Bob's monster |
