The installation took a bite of time. It took around 5-6 minutes to install, but i guess that's because of the Spyware check done inside the installation.

It's surprisingly faster than firefox. It's a bit laggy and some webpages look a bit funky on it but it's really damn fast.

So acknowledging that a better product exists makes you a fanboy?
I'll remember that. |

I try to use alternatives to Microsoft programs whenever I can. So no IE8 for me.

I will treat this like every MS product. I'll give it time in the wild and read the issues people are experiencing so that if I run into it I'll have a good feel on fixing it. I don't particularly care to be an involuntary Beta tester for MS.

Firefox works just fine. I don't care for IE8. I notice no difference, and I don't plan on sticking around for the inevitable security breaches from the people who attack IE (easier to take out the people using defaults). I'm not going to shit my pants over a beta of an IE product, I'm sorry.
Also, you come across as quite the asshole yourself, try not kidding yourself. |

I'm a happy firefox user, even though it has it gripes. I wasn't impressed by IE7 (ms still seems to completely ignore the w3c standards) so needless to say I'm rather skeptic about ie8, especially since it's beta.
