zE Palace Server dxlevel

What is the necessary dx level for the zE Palace server?

I got the message:

"your covar mat_dxlevel should be greater than or equal to 80.0 but was set to 8. please correct this before joining."

Isn't the current dxlevel 10?

source only runs as high as dx 9 afaik

it says make it 80.0 but you say you've put it as 8. Try 80 as it says?

i changed it to 80, seems to work.
is that the same as dx 8 or are there any differences??

No, thats dx8.
dx9 would be 90, dx7 would be 70

Its a anti cheat plugin, it kicks for dx 7 i think u can exploit stuff with dx 7, but i might remove it, not worried about cheaters atm, im more worried about lack of players so : p
