My son laughed too.

Interestingly I remember discussion of a study on the use of corporal discipline as a tool for adjusting behavior amongst children with autism during my upper level classes. Apparently, this worked pretty well in terms adjusting behavior but was constantly criticized as being cruel.

Discipline like that depends on the child. It can't be applied to everything, which ABA has attempted with autistic children. Those assholes make me hate the world.
