I'm a proud conservative liberal Republican

So the truth comes out.

Link plus video

Quote:
"I will conduct a respectful debate," McCain told the crowd at Texas Instruments, per ABC News' Bret Hovell. "Now, it will be spirited because there are stark differences. I am a proud conservative, liberal Republica--- conservative Republican," he said, catching himself. "Hello?" he said as the crowd laughed. "Easy there."
I think that was an awesome slip!

idk sounds like he was just mixing up what he was saying with what he was about to say, "conservative republican" and "liberal democrat"...

I think you're absolutely right. This is, however, one of the concerns for those within the republican party. The view of McCain being largely liberal and trying to play to the conservatives is part of McCain's problem.

McCain has the lead over Huckabee by a pretty fair amount. McCain may have hit a snag recently with fraud relating to campaign fund raising tactics and the restrictions if you use or pledge Federal matching funds. Typical campaign stuff. Actual wrongdoing would not surprise me at all.

Senile fraudster?

Damnit, he's better than just about all of our current government.

Likely because the republican primaries don't matter anymore.
