(badussy) Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I'm sure that everyone is aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My late wife Rose had breast cancer when she was 30(long before we met), and was a long time survivor before she developed Ovarian Cancer. In her memory, I will once again be participating in my local "Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure" on October 18. I have formed a team, and a co-worker and her daughter will be joining me for the 5k walk. I did this last year, and really enjoyed it.

If anyone would like to make a donation for me(or my team), it would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't matter if it's $1, $1000 or anywhere in between, or even above. Every little bit helps. Also, be sure to remind the ladies in your life that early detection saves lives!

But the penguin is not PINK...I am outraged!

Maybe not... but he'll be wearing a pink ribbon next year. I didn't know it was coming, or I'd have brought one for it. However, he did end up getting a pink balloon before the first 1/2 mile.

I'm waiting for those pictures from Cindy.
