well, what i mean is in a hold the area map the only ultimate destination is the capture point , you get nothing at all from not being at that point, so if you were to teleport anywhere else other then the current capture point , you are just wasting time. for the team thats holding it , it could be good i guess. but on a flag map the ultimate destination is always the same and you can have a teleporter going to a spot in there base they over looked and it would be up until they did something about it.. ie the capture point changes now theres no point at all to use the tele pad because its taking you the wrong way..as for defence tele pads... they are less likely because you must 1st make it to the spot and place it and its usually not held by anybody so it goes down faster i just find tele pads less usefull for defence...

Playing as an Engy a large majority of the time, I always build tele's in CP maps.

There is nothing more important then getting (that HW, or Medic or whoever else that play a clutch role in capturing points) to the destination more quickly.

If an HW who is backing up a soldier or whoever else are running the flag both die, the HW can save alot of time going back to the action with a tele.

I honestly see no arguments that can be made against the tele, they are useful in any situation where a turret wouldn't be.
