Fortress Forever League

OK, well not sure where to start but obviously as fortress forever gets closer to being released, someone should think about leagues for the mod. With this in mind i have started coding a new league site from scratch and have spent the best part of a week developing the back end to the site. However I need to get in place a team of people to run the league and then develop ideas on how the league should be run.

I would appreciate it if people from the tfc scene who ran things or was an admin at some time contacted me. Look me up on quakenet in #=mcl= or drop me an email at topgear@digital-illusion.net

Also people interested in being a part of this get in touch.

Sending me an email saying who you are age etc would be an idea, because if i get 100 ppl in irc goiing let me be an admin im going to die since i wont know anything about you.

We are currently running the Skirmish AvD TFC league ( www.skirmish-league.net ) and have plans to continue this in FF.

Going for substance here... you may or may not have thought of this, but you ought to try and find out which nights the other leagues will be having league nights and coordinate with them. I know a few people who join multiple leagues (I mean, if TFC / FF is your only game, some people just can not get enough... -.-' ) and it would suck if three leagues all had matches on Wednesday night.

Isn't that up to the clans? I mean you just set a week where the maps have to be played, you can't force people to play the game on the date you set.

Some leagues used to do it on certain days. Its not really a problem
