From what I already understand there are high altitude planes that are already finalized that can shoot and destroy missiles in the sky with high temperature lasers. In like 5 seconds too.

Excellent, replace the sniper bullets with missiles and the laser sight with that laser that shoots down missiles. That way sniper battles can be awesome!
